Portrait of Halleli Fried

Photographed by Tamar Tsubery

Halleli Fried (b. 1995, Jerusalem) is an artist based in Tel Aviv. Her practice emerges from close observation of processes of transformation—formation and decay—as she encounters them in everyday life. Working across drawing, printmaking, handmade paper, metal, and installation, she explores the relationships between material, image, and time, finding echoes of personal and collective consciousness in material processes.

Fried graduated with highest honors from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in 2025 and received several excellence awards, including the Efrat Family Award. She previously studied goldsmithing and also works in art conservation. Her works are held in private collections and have been exhibited in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and at the Cordts Art Foundation in Berlin.
